Wrote an artist statement for painting so that's done.
Now two short stories (penguins and cobra women) are out looking for a home. Still working on multiple novels and have begun working on some short-short or flash fiction pieces as well.
Submitted to the NPR 3 minute #8 whatever and have fingers crossed. Will post it here once NPR anoints the winner.
I still don't understand how HTML code doesn't include the various typographic spaces for indents, etc. These have been part of typography for over 500 years and somehow a few computer nerds didn't think they were that important. Another example of how people don't understand the concept of space. It doesn't take an Einstein.

Have one short story out trying to find a home and completed a rough first draft for a novel — "Shadowboxer — about a man with a serious car phobia who get a phone call that his wife has been kidnapped except his wife is dead. He discovers that not only has someone stolen his identity, they have been stealing his life.
Also trying to write a succinct Artist Statement about my painting but it is too long so I will have to break it down into a series of short essays about geometry and color in addition to the artist statement.
Two more short stories are nearly done, one about penguins and airplanes, the other involving the alphabet which has taken a new turn and needs some significant rewriting though the story itself is unchanged.
